Code block macro - line numbering lost upon export to MS Word

The code block macro displays line numbers within Confluence. However the line numbers disappear when Export to Word or Export to PDF is selected from Confluence. Is there a way to preserve the line numbers upon Export?

Hi Iswar,

I just tested this out and was able to reproduce the behavior you're describing. When pages with a line-numbered code macro are exported to PDF or Word, the exported file does not show the line numbering.

I have created a bug ticket with our developers for this issue: CONFSERVER-56152. Feel free to vote and comment on this feature request to help give our developers more context around the issue (see also: Atlassian Bug Fixing Policy).
