Is there an equivalent way of accessing the ID of a page to be rendered in a page?
Essentially the equivalent of
$content.getIdAsString()
but for Confluence Cloud?

as far as I know, this is not possible with Confluence cloud. You can't create user macros or add apps there that will output the id on the page.

Had to use page.id (deprecated) since content.id not working as per this bug:
