Child page automatically updates in Parent Table

OK have now identified the solution of Page Properties and Page Properties Report (Macro). But in editing the latter to only say display 3 out of 7 columns, which is done by insertion in "Columns To Show" but then doesn't allow me to save. Any ideas ??

Need assistance in how I need Confluence to operate and best approach is to describe using a Use Case.

Next to User Story Summary page (Parent) click on + select User Story Template and complete

* User Story Title

* then in Table below it, complete values under Headers of

ID     User Story   Priority   Status  Reviewed

* Publish

* which then automatically displays in User Story Summary page:

Have used Children Display macro and selected "rich content under Excerpt Display which only displays in Parent page the Table Headings from children of "ID", "User Story" & "Priority" etc

Question, how can I display in Parent page content included in Table cells in child page?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated, as this had been setup at a previous company I worked for
