I would like to change the structure in my Confluence.

I used to have empty pages as overview pages, which only had the title. I have now replaced these with folders. Now I would like to change the owner of the folders. The person who is responsible for the subpages should always be the owner.

Can I change this somehow as with the normal pages or does the person have to create the folder?

Hi @Ben Kordulla , welcome to the Community!

From what I can find, there is no way to change the reported owner of an existing folder. I tried to look on the public Feature Request portal for Confluence Cloud, and could not find a request for this feature either.

To solve your challenge, you will need the desired owner to create the folder first, and then move the existing content into that new folder. Once this is done, you should be able to delete the old folder.

I would recommend reaching out to Atlassian Support about this specifically, as they are able to raise a feature request on your behalf to have the ability to modify Folder Ownership.

Hope that helps,

Robert
