Change the owner of a confluence article

artjailadmin September 16, 2019

I'm in the process of migrating our company wiki from wordpress to confluence. One of the crucial aspects of the original wiki was that individual staff members felt ownership over the articles they've written. Since I'm doing all the migration, all of the content is now attributed to me. I would like to reassign the articles to their original, correct authors, not simply the person who happened to copy and paste the text. How do I do this?

Hi @artjailadmin and welcome to Community!

In fact, it's not easy with Cloud, but there are some work arounds you might be interested in using.

Check out this previous thread:

There are also a few scripting apps for Confluence that look like they can do it: Power Scripts, Scriptrunner.
