Hi All,
Can someone please help me with ideas to solve this problem. May be Permission related but I created both the space in Confluence and the project in jira. We ahve the cloud premium version etc. Maybe I need some higher permission not sure.
In confluence when I click Space settings and integrate and want to select
ADD and Select "Jira system" the pop up oens and loads but siplay this message:
"Sorry, there are no links for this user available, check your permission configuration of the remote application."
Thus I cannot serach for my jira projects or anything ?
What is the issue here ?
Hi @Johan Ekman and welcome to the community,
Jira and Confluence cloud are integrated automatically, if they are on the same instance: E.g. blahblah.atlassian.net. On that instance /jira will be Jira and /confluence will be confluence.
If you want to connect a space to a project:
Let me know if that helped.
Thanks for the info.
the links are:
"name"jira.atlassian.net
"name"confluence.atlassian.net
Should be correct ? or are they infact to seperate instances due to the addon of Jira and Concfluence to the prefix?
Above I mentioened the "via" Confluence Integrate to Jira way.
But what you mention is the "via" Jira to confluence way.
However, when I do the jira -> conf. via Project pages like you mention. Then my Space is not visible in the dropdown.

These are two different instances you have there. Is there a reason to have two different instances? You can have jira and confluence to either "name"jira.atlassian.net or "name"confluence.atlassian.net

The original reason why this happened is unknown.
Is it "easy" / possible to merge both instances together or connect them ?

@Johan Ekman you could link your jira to your confluence using the link:
https://YOURDOMAIN.atlassian.net/wiki/plugins/servlet/applinks/listApplicationLinks
But in my opinion, I think that you have export all spaces on your confluence only site and import them to your jira site.
