Hi,
I've recently tried to delete a space on my Confluence OnDemand instance called "prod". It doesn't appear in some menus but it does in others:
https://spatialdataexchange.atlassian.net/wiki/admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action
You can see it there but clicking on it gives a "not found" error or "no permissions". Is there a way to delete this space?
First check under https://spatialdataexchange.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/spacepermissions.action?key=prod (where prod can be changed for any spacekey you might be looking for) which users/groups have which permissions in this space. In your case, there are no entities mentioned here at all, resulting in you receiving the error message. Once you have added an entity enabling you to have (admin) access to this space, you will see a "Space Tools" button on the bottom left. From there, go to "Overview". In the next page you will see Tab "Delete Space".
In that case, since all entities have been removed from the permissions of the given space, you have lost the ability to make any changes here. Please raise a support ticket, we can grant your user the appropriate permissions to proceed on this. Please reference to this page in the support ticket, since it will inform the support engineer that will assist you directly what to do.

This URL:
https://spatialdataexchange.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/spacepermissions.action?key=prod
Reports "Page Not Found Error".
Even though it is clearly listed on the Spaces Permissions page.
It isn't listed on the "Space directory" page.
I suspect a transaction somewhere has gone awry.

Hi Andrew,
Only people with Super user rights can do this, so for OnDemand that means Atlassian Support.
Just send them a request to remove the space or to grant you access and rights to this space so you can remove it yourself.
Best regards,
Peter

This is not correct, every user which has the "Space>Admin" permission on the given space, can delete it. It appears to be though that all entities in the permission scheme for this space have been removed, causing the "no permission" error.
