Can you make template variables dependent on each other? (aka list options depend on another field?)

I am trying to create a knowledge article template. In this, I would like a drop down that asks the creator for a product. The next drop down asks for the version. The version options should correspond to the product selected earlier. Is there a way to make this drop down list dependent on which product is selected? Thanks!
