Can you embed a google doc with Confluence widget macro without making doc public?

Does the option 'anyone with a link' work? I don't want to make my doc public.

Looks like the Widget connector regarding Google Docs is broken currently: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-24927

However you can utilize the {iframe} macro which will achieve the desired result. You're Google doc won't have to be public but only people with access to the Google doc will be able to see it within your Confluence page
