I have written few details in MS word document & now i wanted to upload this file in one project in jira.
Please let me know can we upload Word, PDF, Excel in Jira?

You can attach document or for that matter any file to Jira issues but there is not specific place where you have upload documentation.

Now if you want better experience for documents, you can try Atlassian Confluence. Confluence seems more focused towards your use case.
