We had a recent event that caused issues and we lost LDAP connection on our Confluence. Now no one here knows the local admin account and its password. Is there another way to sign in Confluence?
Hi @David Cui ,
Welcome to Atlassian community.
The only option now is to recover the admin rights. If you have access to the server then you can try. Below KB has all the steps , kindly follow the same. All the best.
Hope the above information helps.
Thanks,
Srinath T

@David Cui , whats the error with logging into mysql ? If you have forgot login creds of mysql as well then you will have to recover that first.

We have another question here if you can answer... we changed our domain controller. Where can we find the DNS config file?

Hi @Srinatha T
You can discard my question above. We were able to locate the file where the DNS is defined and changed it to the new host. This resolved the LDAP authentication issue.
Best,
David
