Can only add personal labels error

I have been given all permissions by the creator of the Confluence page, yet when I go to add a label to a document, I cannot. The error I get reads: "You are only permitted to add personal labels on this page." How do I go about adding labels that are already there?

Hi Aparajita,

Your question is interesting because personal labels have been deprecated since Confluence 5.4 (Viewing Personal Labels) Although the creator of the page may not have applied any page level restrictions there could be space permissions holding you back. Please make sure you have edit permission on the space level.

"Any user with permission to edit a page can add labels to it", per Add, Remove and Search for Labels

Hi Aparajita,

Please make sure there are no edit restrictions on the page if you have verified you have the space permissions. This ticket describes the issue we are facing: Labels dialog encourages personal label addition, despite personal labels being hidden from UI:

This issue also happens when there is a page level editing restrictions applied

@Aparajita SatapathyMake  sure space admin gives you  all  require permission and make sure you  are  added permission  base on restricted pages.
