Can not connect to JIRA server when creating Confluence Space, both cloud

When trying to create a Software Project space in Confluence, the dialog window says it "Can not connect to JIRA server" and there are no JIRA projects in the dropdown.  Both are cloud instances in the same Atlassian site (xxxxxxx.atlassian.net).  If I go to Application Links, JIRA is there and I can select "go to remote" and it opens my JIRA instance.  Likewise from JIRA's Application Links to Confluence.

Atlassian support refreshed my app links and its working now.
