We create pages for contracts to track year over year cost and to document the approval process. There are details from several documents that we enter into a table in the page. I would like to pull the details from this table into one spreadsheet and eliminate a process of manually adding the information to the spreadsheet for reporting purposes.

Our current process requires a lot of manual entry and we are having a lot of entry errors with this process. I'm looking to improve the process for all involved.

Hi @Tamara Witkowski

Take a look at Page Properties and the Page Properties Report Macros.

This would allow you to have a report on one page that has all the different page tables values.  At this point you could export it to a spreadsheet if needed.

Hi @Tamara Witkowski

Welcome on Community! Thank you for your question.

It sounds like you're looking for a more efficient way to manage your contract and avoid manual entries.

Have you considered using an app from the marketplace? App like Elements Spreadsheet might be exactly what you need. With Elements Spreadsheet, you can create structured, spreadsheet-like tables directly within Confluence pages. This means you can track costs, approvals, and other details without leaving Confluence, reducing the need for manual data transfer and minimizing errors. Plus, you can use powerful filtering and reporting capabilities to summarize the data for easier analysis.

This could save you time and improve the accuracy of your reporting process.

Let me know if you'd like more information or a demi :)

Hey @Tamara Witkowski ,

To say if it's possible or not, it kinda depends on how the tables are actually structured and used.
Nevertheless, the best native solution I can think of is Confluence Databases.

For example, you would have one database that would contain all data, and then on each page, you would have a separate entry from that database. This entry can be editable from within that page, but all data you enter there is also 'reflected' to the complete database which you can then use for reporting.

Apart from that, Atlassian Marketplace might be a good place to search for solutions. I just can't give any suggestions as we didn't encounter this specific scenario.

Cheers,
Tom
