Can I limit the access of a group user to certain sites

Christina_L_ November 6, 2015

e.g. my GROUP/ AREA is "TEAM" and my sites are "Marketing" & "Controlling" and I want the Marketing guy in my group/area "TEAM" to only view the site "Marketing" and not "Controlling". Is this possible, if yes, how?

Hello Christina,

As per your question, you want to provide permission to user to specific Confluence space. If this is the case then you can refer below link for more information and setps.

You could do something like this. Create three group One called "Team" one called "Team - Marketing" and one called "Team - Controlling". Give the "Team" group access to both spaces. Give each of the other groups access to their respective space. From there all you have to do is put the marketing guy(s)/gal(s) in the marketing group and they will only have access to the marketing space.
