I'm wanting to change the way we permission our confluence spaces, but want an easy way to find out what the exisitng permissions are. is there a way to do this?
Hello,
There are some ways to identify permissions inside Confluence:
Global Permissions set you to assign global permissions to groups, individual users and anonymous users. To better clarify it, you could refer to these page:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF43/Global+Permissions+Overview
Also, through the article bellow you can see a page showing how to assing space permissions:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF43/Assigning+Space+Permissions
There's a Query to better a search through Space Permissions:
select s.spacename,s.spacekey,p.permtype,p.permgroupname,p.permusername from spacepermissions p inner join spaces s on p.spaceid=s.spaceid;
Kind Regards
