Hi, my question is quite simple and probably redundant,
but is it possible to enable the HTML macro in Confluence, embed the HTML code, disable the macro and still use the embedded feature on your page?

We do not want to keep the macro running for security reasons.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Marvin Huneke ,

That is not possible. But as with almost everything: there's an App for that!

For example, this Macro Security app from Bob Swift. With this app you can ensure that only specific users or groups can use certain macros.

Hope that helps.
