Can I choose what Confluence Database puts in the Page Description field?

Hi,

I'm playing around with a document library created in a confluence database.  I have imported links to pages in my spaces and included in the database the "description" field.

This seems to auto generate information from the page itself.  I was wondering if there is a way that I can influence what it puts in that field?  For example, a page property or something like that?

Thanks

Hi @Sonja Altmann

If you set up the column like this...

You have plenty of options what page properties to display - and you can create multiple columns each displaying a specific page details.

Is this what you had in mind?

Thank you @Kristian Klima

That sounds like what I want.  It just means I have to add an excerpt macro to all of my pages, but I can do that over time.  Cheers

Not necessarily, depends on what you want to show, Excerpt is just one of the option, and it's highlughted because that's what I have in this particular column.
