I need to link to a live file so I can display latest data from it in a Confluence page.
I have successfully attached a locally saved file to a Confluence page, then used the Office Excel macro to manipulate it further. However, I have been unsuccessful attaching a Teams file. I have tried copying the link directly from Teams, or opening the file in SharePoint and then copying the link, then pasting either into the Attachment screen of the Confluence page. Confluence has not recognized the full or edited path no matter what method I use.
Apparently, seamless integration of Teams files is possible with the Confluence Cloud, or I need a third-party app to allow this.
Is there anything that will work with Confluence Server version without requiring a third-party app?
HI @Scott Gillespie ,
Welcome. Here's a few suggested documentation to point you in the right direction:
Good overview of the integration:
https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/microsoft-teams-integration
Steps on how to install the app and how it can be used:
https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/use-microsoft-teams-and-confluence-together/
Hope this helps
Just realized you have on-prem confluence.
