Can I arrange issues in groups within Jira Structure board macro/gadget in Confluence?

I am using Structure gadget/macro in Confluence to import a Structure Board. I would like to group my epics by financial quarter or team but there does not appear to be a feature to do so in the gadget. This limits the pivot capability in Confluence.

It is indeed not possible to add groups or apply any other changes in how a structure is built from Structure macro. The macro's architecture can't support Structure's full functionality; so its designed to display structures with their full content but in limited capacity when it comes to features. You can click the Open link at the bottom of the macro to access the structure board in full where you can rebuild the structure and introduce any other changes which then will be reflected in the macro.
