Can Atlassian AI will be used to see if it can do chatbot question/answer from Confluence spaces? Think being able to ask the bot questions on procedure and best practice and achieving it answer from Confluence pages.
We have a number of teams trying to build something like this but if the Atlassian AI does so it would be likely a better and faster solution.
You can connect a 'third-party AI" API with Confluence API and build your own customized solution :) Example of an implementation is here.

Currently no, Atlassian is not planning to add the chatbot to the Confluence. In addition to that, Atlassian is working on the whole separate product that will be AI powered and that will also be used to store all of the knowledge bases which is called Rovo. It has the powered chatbot where you can ask further questions.
