When composing in Confluence, I can use Ctrl-X to cut a section. but Ctrl-V doesn't work to paste that somewhere else. The cut section seems to be simply lost. Is there a different way to move text around before SAVING your post?
Additionally, it would be most helpful if I could copy text from an email or a document and simply insert it into my posting .. again Ctrl-X doesn't work.
I thought these functions worked at one time .. ??
Hi Judy,
Can you confirm with us if you're using Confluence Cloud, and which browsers you're able to replicate this in? Please test as many as you are able, IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc. and confirm the version you used.
Thank you!
Kind Regards,
Shannon
Shannon. Great question. I always use Internet Explorer 11 .. I am working on a Windows 7 Pro machine and regularly do Microsoft updates. Indeed, I tried this on Google Chrome and the cut and paste function worked as it should .. so it seems this is an I.E.11 issue (or perhaps a Microsoft issue).
In Chrome I can cut & paste within my Confluence posting. I can also do my composing of my message elsewhere and paste it into the Confluence posting I am working on.
I am really not keen on having to change my default web browser to Chrome. I am quite certain that this did work in the past, but that perhaps your remake changed this feature. Hope your programmers can correct for this odd behavior.

@Judy Matzkin, I was noticing a problem with this in cloud this evening? Is that what you were referring too?
