When adding a blog post I did not notice that clicking the top level menu Templates switched from the current space to my personal one.
There I added a blog post. Since it is now in the wrong space I want to move it to the correct space. When clicking the Move option in the top right menu and selecting the target space, an error is shown telling me that the space Doesn't allow blogs".
But the space already has at least 1 blog post. And a page with the Blog posts macro that shows it And the Templates menu for that space also shows a Blog post option.
What steps do I need to take to move the blog post. Or if that is not possible, how I do delete it from my space and recreate it in the correct space, while keeping the same URL?
Hi Rob, can you check the Space Settings for the space you are trying to move it to? (Click on Space Settings, then under General click 'Features' and see if 'Blogs' is turned on. If it is not, this possibly why you can't move it.
If I have Blogs turned on, I was able to move them over, but then I turned them off. (I still have blogs in the space), I'm no longer able to see them in the Left Navigation window, but they do show up if I'm using the Blogs Macro. However, I'm not able to copy them anymore.
If I were to guess, Blogs is turned off, and if you turn it back on, you should be able to copy them.
Hope that helps.
There is no Features option, only Space details. Guess I'm not allowed to do configuration. I'll try to find someone that can.
I can open the Blog post template and add a post to the space. If the Blogs feature is off I do not expect to be able to do that.

There's no Delete option for the dummy post I just created as a test...
I think I'll blog outside Confluence.
