New to this as we are deploying Confluence in our Azure Tenant and running into some difficulties. I am thinking it is an Azure thing but looking for best practices when it comes to deploying Confluence in a clustered environment where all pieces reside in Azure.
Our current main problem is that we have installed the application and now are getting ready to configure it but when launching we get the following error, "BootstrapException: Unable to bootstrap application: Exception bootstrapping cluster:Failed to check shared home directory: The parameter is incorrect"
We are assuming that since the application is currently running under the context of the local "Network service account," and that does not have the permissions necessary to access the file share that is why we get that particular error. We are wondering in this type of scenario what others have done or how should it be set. How have others granted the permissions or set the shared storage to be accessible by the application. Could be a configuration issue on the machine/Azure side or in the xml file. Any assistance is welcomed.
