I am trying to set up an automation (e.g. page move) that happens when a date on a page is set.
DETAIL: A user sets a review date for a page. When that date is reached, the automation will trigger and take the action (e.g. move the page to a different location, send an email, etc.).
Is there a way to accomplish this, or something similar based upon a specified date?
With the Better Content Archiving app you can set an expiration date for any page or even blog post. The expiration date can be optionally inherited by child pages:
When the given day comes, the page turns into the "Expired" status and there will be custom notification emails sent out. (You can customize the status, the email content, recipients, everything.)
You can even automatically archive or delete the page if it stays in the "Expired" status for N days and no-one updates it.
The app is developed for content lifecycle management, exactly the use cases you mention, and it is extremely customizable.
(Discl. it is a paid and supported app developed by our team. Free for 10 users!)
