Automatically updating a table column in Confluence

Dean Miller January 17, 2018

So our leadership team has a daily issues Confluence page with each row containing a status update and then a column for "Last updated" with the individual being expected to enter that particular date when the updated the other columns on the row. So one of the managers has mentioned that people forget to manually change the date on the last updated column when they update their info and has asked if we could set that column to auto-update if a change has been made in any column in the row.

Is this possible?

You could easily achieve this in excel and upload the document when finished each day. Be careful with auto updating dates in case the data was not entered or enteres incorrectly (ie a space bar) which influences the result.
