Hallo everyone!
Is there any application that could help with automatic update of pages, that related to each other.
For example, I have Page - Clients, where I could see all my current clients (10 in total) via links to the separate page with information about each client
I also have page Products, where I could see all my products (10 in total) via links to the separate page with information about each product
On the page "Client 1" i have list of all Clients, that I sell to this client (+ links to the pages of these products)
On the page "Product 1" have list of all CLIENTS, whom I sell to (+ links to the pages of these clients)
MY question is as follows:
If I would change the page "CLIENT 1" and would delte from this page the information about product 1 (because I don't sell this product to this client any more),
I want, that at the same time - automatically
on the page "PRODUCT 1" I would not see the information about Client 1 any more (because I don't sell this product to this client any more),
In this case I would not do my job twice, checking all linked pages.
Thank you in advacne for ideas and recommendations.
Hello @Eugenie Ermakova ,
You can add list of Products in each Client page with Yes/No table using Page Properties macro (can be hidden from View mode), then pull these data via Page Properties Report macro into Product pages. This way, you'll only update Client pages, then the details will be updated in Product pages automatically.
Hope this helps.

The suggested solution with Page Properties works but only to a certain level and will become cumbersome if you have to edit the table on every single page.
I was thinking about how I would try to solve your use case, and for you to go beyond the page property feature and its limitations, you might want to try out our new app Orderly Databases. I think it would be a great fit for your use case. (Here's the Atlassian community article about it)
The approach differs from page properties as the database doesn't exist on a specific page but in the space and can be used anywhere using a macro. However, you can modify the information inline in the table/database, the linked page, or anywhere you display it. Also, setting up the structure is fast and easy. If you add fields/columns later on, the changes are also reflected automatically everywhere. 🤘🏼
For your use case, I would set up a client database and a separate product database and use the built-in Entry link fields to connect both databases. It could look something like this:
Customer Database
Product Database
The "Sold to customer" field here is filled and updated automatically as you add or remove products in the other data from your customers by the way.
Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help. :)
Best, Max
