When I create a JIRA issue from a confluence table, I have to have already highlighted the notes that are in that row so I can place them in the description field.
A better way to handle this would be an autofill option, where we have to choice to select a cell in that row.
The way this would look, is as follows:
- highlight the desired cell from the table which autofills in the title field of the issue
- select a desired cell from a drop-down next to the description field
- description field is auto-filled and then I can create the JIRA issue
Atlassian always welcomes feature requests :)
You can make suggestions via this site: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
^ You can also search for previous requests which might match yours, which you can add to, vote for or follow!

If it helps, if you're creating multiple issues from the table - you can choose which column the Summary and Description get populated from. Each row is one issue. That means you don't need to highlight/copy text into the creation pop-up manually.
