Hi,
i need to configure an auto login in Confluence form external Web Application using existing user and password (and token) already active in Confluence, in order to make the browser redirect to Confluence transparent to the user, without knowing (and therefore manually specifying) the password.
This without SSO or SAML.
Cookie base auth could be the right option but is deprecated:
https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/deprecation-notice-basic-auth-and-cookie-based-auth/#deprecation-notice---basic-authentication-with-passwords-and-cookie-based-authentication
Other options?
Kind regards
Andrea
Without SAML/SSO, there's no mechanism to keep track of the logins between your app and confluence.
There's a way to do this between on-prem and external application via the application links

Possibly you could do the same by setting up an application link on your cloud instance.
Hi, thank you for your support.
For the link reported by you, my need is the opposite, from an external application I have to redirect to confluence with a user already logged in
