Is there a way to use Confluence to provide knowledge articles externally/to a public page and to use Atlassian Itelligence AI to power a chatbot?
I want to be able to designate specific pages or a space to be external from Confluence and keep all of my other pages internal and not available externally or be used for Atlassian Itelligence AI chatbot.
Hi @Ramnarine
Confluence's public sharing, Atlassian Intelligence and Jira Service Management virtual agents integrate seamlessly, offering powerful collaboration and automation capabilities. Here's how they align:
Key Features
External Sharing with Public Links
Confluence allows sharing individual pages via public links, ensuring granular control over internal content while sharing specific articles externally. Admin-level permissions and paid plan requirements provide clarity on setup steps.
Content Security
Only pages with public links are shared externally, keeping the rest of the content private. This reassures users about content security, especially for admins protecting sensitive data.
Atlassian Intelligence and Chatbots
Atlassian Intelligence powers AI features within Confluence, while its chatbot capabilities are primarily linked to Jira Service Management. Implementing a chatbot using Atlassian AI and external Confluence content may require additional integrations or exploring Jira Service Management options.
Implementation and Security
A step-by-step approach ensures secure public content setup:
This integration enables effective external collaboration, content security and automation, making it ideal for organizations seeking streamlined knowledge sharing and support.
