Are Confluence page gadget and Include page macro supported for blog posts?

Kimberly Cakebread January 14, 2020

I'm trying to show the blog post from one space in the blog for another space. i have tried the page gadget and include page macros, but the content is not displayed as expected. the page containing the blog post is not selectable for one, and the content displays with deleted spacing in the other. suggestions?

Hi @Kimberly Cakebread ,

so, in general, the Include page macro is a good choice and supports pages and blog posts. Did you specify the Space key as well in the macro?

yes. i find the page, but get bad formatting, with pics displaying as though defined as inline.

I reported to atlassian. wondering if blog posts should be one of the exceptions. it seems there are formatting variations if you take one page type and try to include it in another page type.
