Apply multiple labels at once to a page

I have a spreadsheet specifying which labels should be applied to which pages within our Confluence space. Each page requires multiple labels. I thought that in the past I was able to copy these multiple labels (just separated by spaces) and paste them in to the 'add label' field and they would be recognised as multiple labels. But lately when I've been doing this, it's been recognising the list I paste in as one long label with dashes being inserted in where the spaces were. Has something changed with this recently? Is there a better way to input multiple labels simultaneously?
