Application link not working

Hi ,

we recently upgraded our confluence and seem to be having an issue with the application link between confluence and JIRA.  Have network status error and

The remote certificate can't be trusted

**** may be using a self-signed SSL certificate or a certificate that was issued by a certificate authority that isn't known locally.

We haven't touch JIRA but not sure what's causing this issue. Any ideas?

Hello,

Usually this is related on SSL certificate. While you say nothing has changed maybe the certificate of Confluence has expired.

If this is the case you'll have to update the certificate in the server of the application and add it to both application cacert (or into the java cacert you're using)

This can also be related on different name reported on server.xml in the server's name and base URL in the application.

You should try to add both certificate in both applications, check the server.xml file, restart them and check base URL.

Let me know when you try this.

Hi @Suganthy Pirapagaran ,

If your application links have stopped working after a recent upgrade, it's possible that your customizations to the application's server.xml file were overwritten. Custom changes can include reverse proxy configuration and HTTPS configuration. You should check that the upgraded server.xml file matches the pre-upgrade server.xml.

If the above is not the cause, then please go through the troubleshoot guide. Hope this helps to fix them.
