When linking to an Anchor tag, if there are images above the anchor, the viewport is pushed down by the lazy loaded images. Therefore the anchor tag links are not accurate. Is this just a browser quirk or can this be fixed?
Hello David,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
About the anchor, are you using the anchor macro there or the link to a heading feature?
In any case, I have added to different pages, the anchor macro with an image above it and on another, an image above the heading in the page.
Although it take a second or two to load after the image was fully loaded in the page, it redirected directly to the anchor where it located, and the same happened to the link to a heading.
I may be missing some additional information to replicate the issue, so I'd like to check with you how is your page? Could you share a screenshot or just describe how many things you have there, such as image, text and location of the macros?
I'd like to create a similar environment to see if it is a bug indeed.
Cheers,
Jessica
