Am i able to create a template hierarchy of pages?

I spotted there is an unresolved request for this from 6 years ago so i appreciate its not standard functionality, I know there are workarounds for on prem solutions but are there any workarounds for cloud customers? This can be a very time consuming task so i'm pretty shocked that atlassian haven't provided an OOTB solution to this.

One workaround I saw posted recently for this issue on Cloud involves

1. Creating a space with the hierarchy you want to use as your template
2. Copying the parent page (with the child pages) from that space to the space where you want to use it

If you want to create several of these template hierarchies for different purposes, you could set them all up in the same "Templates" space, maybe with an overview page describing how people should use/copy each one.

Thank you @Barbara Szczesniak for this tip.  I hope Atlassian would actually develop this functionality as it will make it a lot easier and faster.
