The short answer is 'No', and there isn't really any way around it at this point. You can hack around it by using custom themes and macros that let you store alternate titles, but it's not a real 'name', just a display name.
Page titles become URLs, so a slash is just wrong.

You can in Confluence 4.1 as CONF-984 has been resolved.
