Happy New Year to all!
I have a question about notifications:
A colleague of mine received a notification titled "There's a Confluence template for that" from info@e.atlassian.com. It's highly unlikely she actively subscribed to this email somewhere, so I started looking into this and realized this should come from an extra email settings page outside the instance itself -> https://preferences.atlassian.com.
My question now:
How are these automatically set? Is there a way for me to set defaults for my organization? We use confluence mainly for general documentation and all the notification features being automatically on are driving my colleagues nuts...
We already had loads of discussions because everybody needs to deactivate unwanted notifications from within our instance individually.
Any advice on how to handle this?
Kind regards
Heike
Hi @Heike Stücker ,
I did a quick scan of open suggestions on JAC but didn't manage to find the one you're looking for. I'm not sure which ones are enabled by default (maybe it should be none??).
Anyway, I would suggest reaching out to the Atlassian Support to have an additional look of JAC items, and, if required, they can create a new suggestion based on your question. If they do so, please share the suggestion link here so if anyone stumbled on the same issue can quickly drop a vote in case it doesn't get developed until then.
Cheers,
Tobi
