After updating confluence from 6.8 to 6.11, edit document is missing on office macros

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
After updating confluence to 6.11 from 6.8 last week, the edit document button on the excel macro has been missing.
Tested with a word macro, all my excel macros, etc. and none of them have the link displayed.
I was able to edit it by using the inserted file macro, but that doesn't accomplish what I want. The workflow on the older version was much better.
