I have seen multiple places where people have found a way to use a large background image that takes up the entire header section of a confluence page. I dont want just a banner across the top. Im looking for something that will allow to me to customize a space that looks like what I have uploaded. I have read a few places where this functionality isnt an option with the Cloud based platform but there is a lot of conflicted info ONLINE that says this can be done through a user defined macro. Any experts out there with any advice on how to achieve this look without adding extra plugins from outside companie?
Hi DB,
Without an app you can only add a header image to your pages like this:
Anything else require an app like Scroll Viewport, Refined, or any of the other Theme apps that you can find in the Marketplace.
The stuff you've found about macros is correct, you can create user macros that can do this.
But Cloud does not support user macros.
