Add-on to branch and merge Confluence pages?

Anyone know of an add-on that would let me branch, tag, and merge pages in Confluence? Like source control applied to confluence pages.

Would be very helpful for versioning specs, where the specification changes over time but it is still important to be able to refer to the proper version of the spec corresponding to a particualr release of the software.

The tool we where working on has been released in the meanwhile: It is called Scroll Versions and it is made to make working on documentation a joy.

Key Features:

  • Author and manage multiple versions
  • Compare versions and spaces
  • Use duplicate page titles (!)
  • and many more...

Check it out on the Marketplace:

Interesting but way too expensive.

Hi Tyson,

Not exactly what you're asking, but you might find this blog post useful - - it details how Atlassian versions their documentation for each release of their products.

Hi Tyson,

right now we are working on somthing that will solve your problem. But it's not official yet.

Please contact me at johannes[at] if you want a little more information.

Tools for wiki-based documentation.
