Hi ,
All active directory users imported to confluence can sign up , is it possible to specify who is allowed to open an account on confluence between all AD users ?
thanks
we imported only a specified group of users from our AD with users who were allowed to create an account.
Prove me wrong but I don't think you can specify the groups once you imported them in system.
Hi @Fabienne Gerhard ,
But in this case we have to create specific groups for conflence on the AD ,
for exemple : if i have Accounting group on my AD ( that i'am using for other applications ) but i don't want John and Alex ( tow members of accounting ) to login ;
is it possible ?
Thanks

we created a special confluence group in our AD - those members all get access to confluence. The rest is made online in confluence with groups in confluence.
But this is only one opportunity. I know this means works in AD but makes it easier for you working in confluence with groups (still depends on what number of people we are talking ;) )
