Hi Team,
In Confluence spaces you can use the functions to put an action item in and tag a specific person…I want to be able to create a task on a Jira board and add an action item in the description that will show in your tasks on your confluence page if possible. There is some similar functionality as I am looking at this task right now that is in confluence is there a way to turn on action items for Jira tasks as well and have them show in your tasks in confluence.
Thanks,
Rohith.
Hello, I know it's been a while since this was posted. However, as this question probably has a lot of watchers, I thought it's good to update that 'Action Items' feature in Jira was released recently and now can be used natively within descriptions: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/Introducing-Action-items-in-Jira/ba-p/2876018
This is great for ad-hoc tasks that do not need to be separate subtasks.
Addressing the second part of the question, for users looking to sync checklist tasks between Jira and Confluence, there's a workaround involving the Didit checklists apps. By copying a checklist from Jira and pasting it into a Confluence page, your updates on Jira checklists will be reflected in real-time on the Confluence page. Here's a split screen snapshot of the same checklist existing in both products simultaneously:
This is handy if you want to document tasks checked off in Jira also in Confluence for audits. Here are the links to Didit checklists for Jira and Confluence if you need them :)
May I recommend the app - Checklist for Jira. It allows you to create checklists and mention users on items. Users can see all of their mentions on a dashboard gadget and/or Jira page.
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi @Rohith k
This is not possible natively in jira, you may have to look for some apps on marketplace to achieve this.
Hope it helps.
