A template in a template

Ville Myrskyneva January 3, 2018

Can I create a repetitive step in a page template, so that a certain part of the template can be added [1 ... n] times. Amount of steps depends on how many items the creator of a new page requires (to start with).

Example:

[page title]

    [description]

    [some content]

----- ---- start of repeated part ----- -----

[sub section]

  [sub description]

  [some  sub content]

----- ---- end of repeated part ----- -----

(button - add new repeatable item)

As far as I understand your requirement, the Page Tree Creator App can do this. You find it for Confluence Server on the Marketplace.

You cannot do that with a template. You would need to write a blueprint to do what you are asking.

I thought about that, but I understood that blueprints "just" manifest a list of pages with same template under a certain directory.

I may need to check them later  in more detail.
