jira work normal in server but confluence no

Hi,

Looking at your log, the first thing I noticed is the confluence service "'K01confluence" is not setup properly. The log shows that the LSB (Linux Standards Base) is not set up properly.

The LSB defines how your service is configured and the sequence the script should following during boot and shut down. If this is not configured properly (which is what I see in the log) - it could mess with the shutdown and startup sequence of linux kernel scripts.

Configure the service properly according to LSB standards and try a system reboot again.

You can get details about LSB and examples of scripts here.

Also, before you try stop/start using the Service, see if you can manually stop and start confluence using the confluence installed scripts located at:

%CONFLUENCE_INSTALL_DIR%/bin/stop-confluence.sh

%CONFLUENCE_INSTALL_DIR%/bin/start-confluence.sh

Also make sure you are using the correct version of JAVA required by your confluence instance for running these scripts.

really issue happen after server restart

how can i fix this please as i have no experience with confluence

i try this

%CONFLUENCE_INSTALL_DIR%/bin/stop-confluence.sh

%CONFLUENCE_INSTALL_DIR%/bin/start-confluence.sh

but service running but no page to display 404

@ahmed deraz,

First, disable the confluence service using the command:

update-rc.d <service name> disable

then reboot your system and try the start confluence manually. If this works as expected, then you have an issue with your service for sure.

Can you please also provide the script of your service so i can see what you have wrong?
