actually i am fresher and my lead give me work to upgrade confluence to latest version
so i don't have any knowledge about confluence and how upgrade thing are done but i know our confluence based on Linux operating system so kindly , give me step by step information that how upgrade things need to be done it will really helpful for me we are using currently 5.9.3 .

There two supported methods to upgrade Confluence: manually or using an installer. The manual method basically involves downloading the newest version of Confluence, then running it against your existing Confluence Home directory. In either case, I recommend closely following the steps outlined in the documentation linked above, which provides detailed instructions and things to look out for to ensure a successful upgrade. And most importantly, be sure to test all changes in a staging environment before upgrading production to avoid any potential outages.
