Unable to do confluence content reindexing from the scratch

Hello Team,

We wanted to do confluence content reindexing from the scratch. So we followed the same what is mentioned in the below article. https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-rebuild-the-content-indexes-from-scratch-on-confluence-server-110035351.html . We shut down the confluence from all the nodes. Deleted existing backups of index and journal folders, took backup of existing index and journal folders and deleted the original folders. Did the same for all the 3 nodes and started each node at a time. Even after deleting the index and journal folders we are unable to do content reindexing as it is getting stuck at 2% since 1 hour. Is there any way we could get rid of this.
