Tomcat Installation in confluence

Hi Team,

We are planning to migrate and upgrade Confluence 5.6.4 version to latest version in linux environment. Ours is a standalone application.

Does the linux package for confluence installs Tomcat by default in versions 5.6.4 and in the latest version ?

If the installer includes the tomcat installation by default, could you please share the link as well for the same from atlassian documentation, if any.

Both the installer and archive methods include Tomcat. The installer also includes Java. You may download the latest installer from this link:
