Searching option for Confluence Whiteboard

Hi community!

Recently, I had to migrate my team backlog back to mural.co because the lack of a search option in Confluence Whiteboard made it challenging to work efficiently. Imagine, for instance, being (or not being) able to instantly locate a keyword within a product backlog on the whiteboard during a backlog refinement session or daily standup meeting with the team. This is just one example of how this feature significantly impacts productivity and streamlines processes. The ability to search within Confluence Whiteboard is a game-changer for my team. If this feature becomes available at an opportune moment, I would love to be a promoter of the Confluence Whiteboard in my department!

I envision the Confluence Whiteboard becoming a valuable tool for agile project management in my department. However, I believe there are significant opportunities for improvements - specifically, the addition of a search function.

I have used the "Give feedback" option inside the Confluence Whiteboard, but I have not received any response so far. I would like to ask if there's any official channel or process to request such a feature or to provide an upvote if it has already been requested. Is there a roadmap for Confluence Whiteboard development that could shed light on when we might expect this feature to become available?

Hi @Cleber Marques

I'd recommend in future using this Group to ask these questions - it's probably best suited :)

There's a recent similar question on this I found - see a response from Atlassian on this question from September
