Password policy

Policy Security

Currently it is not possible to administer password policy for users using public mail domains. You can only control the password policy of users in your verified domain. If users are not within your organization, currently you cannot enforce password policies on them. It is also a problem to ask provider companies to update their DNS for a short mission.

Hi!

As I understand correct do you need the old functionality like this ?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira064/password-policy-for-jira-720412462.html

Or something else?

I mean extended funcytiomality app  https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211254/enterprise-password-policy-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview

Could you provide more detail info?

Why you can not configure the passoword policy on Crowd, AD, or other user directory side ?

Cheers,

Gonchik Tsymzhitov
