JQL macro table output really needs a design upgrade.

I am huge fan of inserting jql macro in table format in Confluence page.

I usually pull out like duedates, status, custom fields, etc. from the queried tasks and It gives a overview at a glance.

But the thing is, it really needs an upgrade to support few basic functions.

The first thing is...

It is very annoying when you change the column order. You have to go do "display" section and you need to delete all the field and re-typing in the field again.

Yeah, like, if I want to move 'issue type' before the 'key', I need to delete everything and re type those fields again.

DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE!..

The second thing is...

All the links in the table is, showing the URL it self when Jira ticket shows the short link. Like this.

This is the Jira ticket screen

As you can see the link in the description is shown with the short link with the page name on it.

But if you print that field using jql macro in confluence in table format, you get this.

As you can see, the table cannot get the short link or page name preview in designed format. It just returns the raw URL itself.

So those are the things I love and hate.

I really want to see the feature update on the JQL macro table output update.
